FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS


Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

No, but anyone under the age of 16 must be acompanied by an adult ticket holder.


I have a Weekend Ticket. Do I have to arrive on Friday and stay all weekend?

A Weekend Ticket gives you access to the festival from Fridays onwards, so you can come Friday, Saturday or even Sunday if you want.


How Do I get to Donington Park?

Google Maps or satellite navigation will take you to this entrance using the following address.

By Train - The nearest train station to Donington Park is East Midlands Parkway. This is a 12-minute taxi ride away from Forbidden Forest. At this station East Midlands Trains operate regular. Please check timetables.

Taxi From Station - There are many local taxi firms that service both the East Midlands Parkway train station as well as the East Midlands airport. We strongly advice you book your taxi in advance to ease your travel home.

From The North -Leave the M1 at junction 24, then at the roundabout take the 4th exit onto the A453 (signposted Tamworth, Birmingham). At roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A453 (signposted East Midlands Airport, Diseworth, Donington Park).

Go past the Donington Park Service Area (MOTO). At roundabout take the 1st exit onto the A453. At the next roundabout take the 1st exit onto the A453, go past the Airport, then straight on at the traffic lights (signposted for Donington Park Paddock Entrance), take the first right onto Melbourne Lane and then the Donington Park entrance is half a mile on your right.

From The South - Leave M1 at junction 23a, then merge onto the A42 (signposted Stoke A50). At roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A453 (signposted East Midlands Airport, Diseworth, Donington Park). Go past Donington Park Service Area (MOTO). At roundabout take the 1st exit onto the A453.

At next roundabout take 1st exit onto the A453. At next roundabout take the 1st exit onto the A453, go past the Airport, then straight on at the traffic lights (signposted for Donington Park Paddock Entrance), take first right onto Melbourne Lane then the Donington Park entrance is half a mile on your right. If arriving via A42, follow signs onto the A453 at Tongue. Sat Navs will take you to this entrance using the postcode DE74 2RP.


Will I be charged for Car Parking?

Car parking will be £5 per car, bike or van & £10 per coach.


Can I leave the site and come back again?

Weekend Ticket holders can leave the site, but Day Tickets have no re-admission to the site. If you're a Day Ticket holder, please make sure you have everything with you before you arrive.


Where can I find out set times?

Times will be available on the website & there will also be leaflets available onsite throughout the festival.


What form of ID will be accepted?

We accept passports, EU photocard driving licences, a proof of age card bearing a PASS hologram, Ministry of Defence identity cards or National Identity card issued by an EU member state.


Will there be lockers available onsite?

Yes, we have partnered with ILocker to provide lockers onsite. There will be no keys required & the lockers will be using Biometric Palm Scanners, meaning only your own palm will be unlock your locker. With only limited lockers available, you can book yours in advance at www.ilocker.com to avoid missing out.


Is there going to be phone recharging onsite?

ILocker are also providing the festival with 2000 phone charging ports at £10 per charge, so you can stay in touch with the world outside of Septemberfest & plaster your social media with the party inside! In addition, ILocker will also be offering portable chargers for on the go power, so your snapchat will not miss a beat!

Why havent my tickets arrived?

You will have been sent an eTicket from the lovely people at EventBrite when you purchased your tickets. If your eTicket still hasn’t arrived, be sure to check your Spam or Junk folder. Failing that, you will need to contact us at info@septemberfest.co.uk

What times does the festvial start & finish each day?

You are welcome to arrive onsite from 3pm on Thursday 21th Septemberfest 2017.

Gate Opening Times:
Thursday: 3pm – 10pm
Friday – Sunday: 10am – Midnight
Monday: Please aim to leave the site by 12pm
You’re welcome to leave an re-enter the festival site throughout the day, just be sure to stick to the times listed above.
Arena Opening Times:
Friday-Sunday: 11am – 12pm

Headliner bands will finish around 11pm.

Illegal Drugs

The dealing in or use of illegal drugs is not tolerated by SeptemberFest in any way. Drug enforcement laws are as applicable on site as anywhere else in the country. If you deal in drugs, it is very likely that you will be arrested. Security searches will be in place on the gates in order to stop any illegal drugs entering the site and security will be patrolling the festival site. There will be a police presence inside the event, please respect them.

Can I leave and return to the festival during the weekend?

Yes, but you will only be able to gain access during the gate opening hours (these will be confirmed nearer the time).

Can I get a refund if I cannot make it?

All tickets are non-refundable.

I'm under 18, can I buy a ticket?

Yes, you sure can but you will require a Junior or Child Ticket that can be purchased at the same time as an adult ticket. If you are 17 or under, you MUST be accompanied by a parent or guardian who is over 18 years old and this adult must remain on site throughout the weekend.

Please bring proof of age, as you may be required to show this when you enter the festival.

Will there be any activities for the children

YES, WE HAVE THE TEAM FROM SPARE ROOM ARTS WHO WILL BE RUNNING FAMILY FUN & KIDS’ ACTIVITES THROUGHOUT THE WEEKEND. WE HAVE ALSO PARTNERED WITH WILLOWS SPORTS CENTRE TO PROVIDE 5 A SIDE & DODGEBALL!

Live-In Vehicles

Can I bring my own alcohol?

Yes, you are welcome to bring your own alcohol if you are camping. Any alcohol that you bring is only permitted to be consumed in the camping areas. No personal alcohol will be permitted in the main festival area. Please only bring what you can carry. ie. No shopping trolleys filled to the rafters!

Strictly no glass bottles please!

Soft drinks may only be brought in if the bottles are NOT open.

Can I bring my own BBQ?

Unfortunately, BBQS or Gas Hobs are not permitted anywhere on site.

Can I sell or use Chinese Lanterns?

Sorry folks, as pretty as they are, lanterns of this type are forbidden to be used or sold on site. They are not to be brought into the venue and/or campsite and cannot be released from the venue. Sky lanterns can cause a potential fire risk, cause damage to the countryside and wildlife, they may also may impact the air traffic above the site!

Will there be medical cover?

We have onsite medical staff, who will be more than glad to help you with any medical needs, urgent or otherwise!

Will there be showers?

YES, THERE CERTAINLY WILL BE. SO BE SURE TO BRING YOUR SHAMPOO, CONDITIONER AND SHOWER GEL TO KEEP YOU SMELLING SWEET!

Can I bring my dog?

Unfortunately we cannot permit any pets onsite – we have had to make an exception for 3 Atomic Kittens 😉

Is there Disabled Access?

Yes, there sure is. We do everything we can to make our festival as accessible as possible.

Can I get a disabled 2 for 1 Ticket?

The process for disability tickets can be found below;

There is a separate camping for disabled customers. I have attached the process for obtaining access to the disabled campsite below;

Customers wishing to attend Septemberfest with disabled access are advised to purchase a standard weekend ticket (or VIP ticket if this is the option you are going for), you will then need to apply for access to disabled facilities and/or a free PA ticket if required. You can do this by sending a copy of one of the below to this email address;

If this is not possible please send any other documentation which evidencing disability & these will be reviewed on a case by case basis.

On this email can you please include the following for our records;

When this has been received and reviewed by our team, we will respond with a confirmation email from info@septemberfest.co.uk which will advise you of the permissions granted.

Please note – we will require Proof of ID & confirmation email to be presented for disabled tickets to be granted entrance at festival gates.

What is I need assistance ?

Stewards are available for any assistance needed if and when required.

Guide dogs are welcome.>

Please be aware that flashing and strobe lights will be featured in the festival. Any questions you may have relating to accessibility at the festival then please don’€™t hesitate to contact us.
